The JV girls soccer team beat Middletown on Tuesday 4 to 0. Goals were scored by Layla El-Sherif, Sarah Thorssell, Kenna Fox, and Sarah Holloway. The Varsity Girls soccer team lost 3-1 to Middletown in a hard fought match. Peyton Wilkie scored the lone goal for the Bears. Tonight the girl soccer program plays Frederick away at 5:30 and 7pm. Come out to support!

The Junior Class Club is selling t-shirts to fundraise for prom. Each shirt costs $15.00. A copy of the order form and a picture of the shirt are attached to this form.Forms can be found outside Ms. Ehrlich, Ms. Malagari, and Ms. Carman’s rooms.    They are due back no later than Wednesday, October 2nd at 2:20 pm.

1 in 9 students in Maryland’s public schools do not know if they will have food to eat when they get home from school and Marylanders miss more than 100 million meals a year.  Oakdale High School will be conducting a food drive from October 1st to November 1st to help those in need. Please bring donations of non-perishable food items to your first period class.  The class that brings in the most donations will win a breakfast. If your first period class is not participating in the food drive, you may drop off your donations with Ms. Porter in Room A225.

The Boys Varsity soccer team remained undefeated as they tied Middletown Tuesday night in a great match.  The JV Boys soccer team played very well but lost 2-1. Come out and watch the teams play against Frederick on Thursday evening, JV starts at 5:30, varsity at 7:00

This is an excellent opportunity for seniors who have an interest in government and politics.
