Are Halloween Decorations Getting Out of Hand?

Halloween is a super spooky and fun holiday that occurs once a year on October 31st. There are many traditions kids and families do to celebrate this special day. Children dress up in costumes, go door to door trick or treating, and ask for candy or other treats. Families  tend to set up decorations on or around their house to show their Halloween spirit. Lights, blow ups, and skeletons are expected to be seen around neighborhoods. Now, Halloween decorations are starting to become just as popular and festive as those during the holiday season. Some houses have been going all out. People have gone as far to set up full blown haunted houses in their driveways. They make their Halloween decorations interactive and engaging for kids and their families. A big trend from this year was the 12 ft tall skeletons, and large animatronics. Many people would go to the Spirit Halloween stores and look for the scariest one. Some have bought them and displayed the fun decorations in the middle of their lawns. Most neighborhood favorites are the ones with big, over-the-top displays. Kids believe that the houses with the biggest, brightest decorations are the ones with the best candy. Homes this year have gone all out to show their love for Halloween.
