The holiday season is coming up, and many people begin to make lists for the gifts they want to receive. Usually, people are used to making Christmas lists and sending it to their loved ones for them to pick out, and buy so on Christmas they can open them. The gifter may not always know exactly what to buy, especially for teens, and could accidentally get the wrong thing.

Recently, many people have been making Amazon wish lists for Christmas and sending them to family members to make it easier for them. But what if what you want isn’t on Amazon and doesn’t have what you are looking for or what if two members buy the same thing.

Giftful is a holiday shopping app founded by couple Cono and Hannah Onorato answers both of these problems and makes gifting for others easier.

When asked if the app was practical Junior Micah Diaz said, “Yeah because then people know exactly what you are looking for and they can get it easier you know.”

Giftful is similar to a social media app where instead of making posts lists are made. It’s used for making wish lists for holidays, birthdays, as well as registries for weddings and personal items.

The app is relatively simple to use. First the person creates a list by selecting the type of list: Christmas, birthday, wedding registry, etc. Then they set a date for the event.

Then one searches online for items someone likes. For example one could go to amazon and paste the amazon link. They also provide an online browsing service for other gift ideas.

Diaz also stated it would help holiday shopping, “I would get more specific gifts and I wouldn’t buy something I’d never use.”

Then others can claim the different gifts. This lets others know that they are getting them that way there is no confusion and two people accidentally buy you the same thing. Junior Shane Watson stated, “My brother and I have got the same thing for someone, a checklist would be useful because they wouldn’t get the same thing twice.”

Giftful is a great gift giving app that allows one to shop for others easily without others getting the same thing for them twice, find specific items, and shop for gifts the person will genuinely enjoy and use.
