The Feed Frederick Club helps to collect food donations for people in need. Their goal is to make food accessible and easy to locate for those who need it. The club started because there are many people who could benefit from getting the donations.

The club started last year, in 2022. President Jordyn Kinnee had a friend who started it as a leadership project and passed it down to her. When asked what the current goal of the club is, Kinnee answered, “Right now, we have a food drive going on, so our goal right now is to collect donations and get as much food as possible.”

Once the drive ends then Kinnee and her vice president will take the donation boxes and donate them to the Frederick Rescue Mission.

Even if you’re not a part of the Feed Frederick club, you can donate to the Frederick Rescue Mission. They take food and drink donations. More information is available on their website.

Since club days are only once a month, there is a lot of pressure right now which means that they will have to plan a lot and know what to be doing until the next meeting to talk about how things are going and collect what they have.

If you go to Oakdale High School and  want to donate, there is a box in the front entrance of the school for donations to help out the Frederick Community.

Any OHS student can donate food, as well as, join the Feed Frederick club. . If you go to OHS, join the Feed Frederick Club.
