Any students who are interested in joining the wrestling team this season are required to attend an informational meeting after school on Tuesday, October 22nd. It will be held in the wrestling room at 2:30. See Coach Wax if you have any questions.

The Oakdale Equestrian Team competed again on Sunday.   The following participated:

 Hannah McDonald in Advance took a 5th and a 6th in the flat class.

 Brook Weadon in Intermediate took 2 – 4ths in flat class, a 1st in jump course and was Reserve Champion in her division.

Melody  Wolski in Intermediate took a 4th and a 6th in flat class and 5th place in jump course.

 Virginia Gibson in Novice took two 2nd in flat class and a 6th in jump course.

 Paris Burghouts in Maiden took two a 1st and 4th in flat class and 2nd in jump course.

 Grace Thomas in Maiden took two 1sts  in flat class and 4th in jump course and was Champion in her division.

Grace Kacur in Maiden took a 3rd and a 6th in flat course and 5th in jump course

 Another display of teamwork, individual work and great sportsmanship by this group of ladies.  Well done.

The Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Boonsboro 6-0 last night. Ethan Simpson scored twice.  The team’s record is now 9 wins 0 losses and 3 ties. The JV Boys Soccer team improved to 7-2-1, also defeating Boonsboro. Come out to the final regular season match Thursday against Linganore

The Unified Tennis team brought home the gold medal from the 2019 Unified Tennis District Tournament.  They won all of their matches! Shout outs to doubles partners Jensen Ritter and Eric Connolly, Carter Albers and Jackson Vance, and Justin and Jacob Abate. Extra special shout outs to Ellie Townshend, Nikki Walsh, Ella Penny, Catherine Cheli, Nicholas Livengood and Finn Mullen for rocking the Skills level competition. The team now qualifies for the State Tournament at Loyola on November 7th.  Congratulations!!
