Are you interested in Poetry Out Loud? Do you love watching spoken word or Button Poetry videos? You can be a part of the national Poetry Out Loud competition starting at the schoolwide level. The OHS Poetry Out Loud competition will be held December 6th during 5th block in the auditorium. Anyone interested in participating as a performer or even as an observer, please see Mrs. Showalter in A208. She will begin to offer SET sessions to help coach Poetry Out Loud participants. Congratulations to the Unified Tennis Team for getting the SILVER at the State match yesterday. Tonight, we have Girls Field Hockey at Broadnech High School at 530 and Volleyball here at Oakdale at 530. It’s a BLACK OUT and the girls would love a crowd. Friday, Football begins their playoff run against Walkersville, and Saturday, Boys Soccer continues theirs at Montgomery Blair High School at 5 PM. Oakdalians are known to be the best student section in the state – let’s show out for all of our teams!
