Jan. 23rd

This week’s student of the week is Jenna Russell.  Jenna was nominated by Ms. Nave because Jenna has worked extremely hard with the environmental club, initiating our goal to become a green school. She has organized meetings and initiated communication with officials in school and in the community to get the process started. Jenna has also encouraged others to become involved and given up hours of her time to make sure everyone is up to speed on our goals. In addition, Jenna played a major role in the success of our staff vs. student basketball game. Because of Jenna, we exceeded our fundraising goal and we are off to a great start with the green school initiative. As this week’s student of the week, Jenna will receive a coupon for one free admission to an Oakdale High School event.  Way to go Jenna!
