Congratulations to the Boys Track and Field team for winning the County Championship last week.  The Boys were amazing. The four by 800 meter team of Lee Goodson, Charles Parrott, Justin Cherry, and Kyle Lund can in for an easy first.  This was followed by our amazing 300 meter sprinters. Jonah Childress can in first, Lamont Kenny came in third, and Matt Moran came in forth.  Our great mile duo of Kyle Lund and Collin Dempsey once again took the county’s first and second place with Lucas Shortridge almost breaking 5 minutes in the mile.  Next time for sure Lucas!! Lee Goodson then took second in the 500 meter and Collin Dempsey fought through to get second in the 2 mile. Our four by 200 meter team of Jonah Childress, Peter Worden, Matt Moran, and Lamont Kenny came in a close second.  Kyle Lund came in first in the 800 meter and Charles Parrott scored from the slowest heat!!! Sam Starrs found the elevation to come in second in the pole vault and our Hurdles of Mason Scott and Matt Copen gave us unexpected points. The our 4 by 400 meter team of Collin Dempsey, Kyle Lund, Matt Moran, and Jonah Childress too an easy first!  Great job to the boys team and a big shout out the Girls Track and Field team for coming in second at counties. Oakdale now has the best combined team in the county!!!
