Alone yet together during this quarantined state

Things to consider and things to contemplate

And here I am spending my time

To make some of these words rhyme.

This isn’t easy for me to do,

I think I need something to chew.

I hear the doorbell ring and see the neighbor has left a treat!

I go outside to thank her but remember I have to stand six feet.

What a strange existence to remain socially distanced.
