SENIORS APPLYING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA

If you are interested in being considered for the University of Virginia Jefferson Scholars Program, please see Mrs. Krivos in the Guidance office for details by Thursday, November 7. Only one student from Oakdale High School may be nominated for the program. Jefferson Scholarships provide full tuition, fees, and a living stipend for four years of undergraduate study at UVA, plus a number of generous enrichment benefits including a study abroad experience. The Boys Soccer team won their second consecutive region Championship, last night defeating Walkersville 1-0. Sam Myers scored the goal and Dylan Miller recorded the shutout which included a great save on a penalty kick. Thanks for the great student section and their support.

Attention all students and staff. There is a friendly competition going on through the end of October where students and staff can track their miles. The QR codes needed to track the miles are in Ms. Adams room and also posted throughout the school. At the end of the competition, there will be prizes. Make sure to get all your miles in as soon as possible!

The Halloween tradition continues, only seniors get to dress up. Seniors dress appropriately, no masks and no weapons.
