Congratulations to the boys cross country team for coming in 4th in the 2A state championship.  It was a very hard fought region. We had two athletes come in the top 10. Congrats to our dynamic Duo of Kyle Lund who came in 5th and Collin Dempsey who came  in 6th. Following close behind was Collin Shriner, Josh Milliken, Nick Stokes, Spencer Buckwalter, and Charles Parrot. This was one of the most successful cross country team in Oakdale’s history!!!

Athletes that are interested in joining the Indoor Track and Field team can stop by Coach Lillard’s room during SET or attend a meeting on Tuesday at 2:30 to 3:00.  If you attended the Indoor Track and Field Meeting last week you DO NOT need to attend this meeting. Please make sure that you get registered and get your physical done.

GO BEARS Football and Soccer teams!!

Anyone interested in joining the indoor percussion or color guard ensembles, there is a meeting on Thursday 11/15 at 6 pm in the band room.

This week’s student of the week is Alyson Flora.  Alyson was nominated by Ms. Showalter because she is always intellectually curious, creative, and a valuable participant. She has also continued to lead Creative Writing Club meetings and made the club Classroom more interactive this year. Alyson has helped support students new to Poetry Out Loud in SET as they practice performing their poems for this year’s schoolwide competition. As this week’s students of the week, Alyson will receive one free admission to an Oakdale High School event.  Way to go Alyson!
