Good morning. Students who took the PSAT on October 16th now have access to view their PSAT scores online. When you view your online score report, you’ll get summaries of your performance on each test and content area. You can also filter results and drill down to see how you performed on easy, medium, and hard questions or on questions that measure different skills. Percentiles will show how you did compared to your peers.  You have access to free SAT prep through the college board website. As mentioned in this video a great resource to prepare for the SAT is the Khan Academy. You also have access to FREE SAT preparation through the college board web site with the Khan Academy. You will want to sign up at satpractice.org. To access this service, you will  link your college board account to the Khan Academy to receive personalized SAT practice.  For juniors, this information is especially important; as this is a great way to prepare for the upcoming OHS School Day SAT that will be given to all juniors on March 25, 2020. Sophomores and juniors should review scores and utilize the resources (Kahn Academy) available on Collegeboard to prepare for the SAT. We will also be issuing individual student PSAT test booklets and a paper copy of individual score reports when they are made available to us in mid-December. Friday the 13th… Come to Skate Frederick! The Oakdale Bears will take on the Frederick Co-op team. The puck drops at 4:45 and admission is free. Let’s pack the stands and cheer the team on to victory!

On Friday the 20th, the Environmental club will be hosting a Staff v.s Senior basketball game during fith block. $5 to watch and $5 to play.  Tickets will be sold starting the 13th up until the 19th! Five to ten people per team. Sign up fast only 4 teams can enter!! First 100 people to purchase a ticket are entered in a raffle to win prizes!!  Help raise money for a new water fountain in our school and get out of your 5th block!!

Oakdale Girls Basketball swept both games at Linganore Tuesday night.  Both teams improved to 2-0 on the year. The JV girls won 36-29, led by Fina Mochi with 12 points.  The Varsity girls won 50-41, Sam Foster led the way with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Gabby Averill grabbed 7 rebounds.  Grace Carey had 5 rebounds with 3 assists. Aubrey Austin scored 7 points. The girls home opener is this Friday, Dec 13th vs. Tuscarora.  The girls look forward to playing in front of their home crowd!
