There will be a meeting for anyone interested in trying out for the Girls Varsity Tennis Team this Friday, February 8th at 2:30 in Coach Weiss’ room (A102).  If you can’t attend the meeting please see Coach Weiss before this Friday to pick-up information needed for tryouts.

Congratulations to junior Cassie Rutledge, the OHS winner for 11th grade short story in the Young Authors Contest, has also been recognized for her poetry in the Scholastic Writing contest. Of the 1,323 works submitted to the contest, 219 received honorable mentions. Cassie’s poem, “An Ode to a Book,” is one of these 219.

Support your local Bear Necessities and buy some roses for that special someone in your life. Roses will be sold all lunch shifts February 4th through the 8th or until SOLD OUT! If they are not sold out by then they will be sold until the 13th report to B101 and fill out an order form. Roses will be delivered during set on February 14th! Also we have a limited supply of MULTI COLORED roses so grab them while you can!
