Please support the OHS Dance Team by visiting the Chipotle on Rt. 40 in Frederick tomorrow Tuesday (9/24) between the hours of 4 pm and 8 pm.  A portion of the sales will be donated to the team to help pay for uniforms and our competition! 

 

The Oakdale Equestrian Team had it’s first show of the 2019/2020 season on Sunday.  The following participated: Hannah McDonald in Advance took 6th in jump course. Brooke Weadon in Intermediate took a 1st  and a 2nd in flat class, a 1st in jump course and was Champion in her division. Paige Smith in Intermediate took a 1st and 2nd in flat class, a 3rd in jump course and was Reserve Champion in her division. Melody  Wolski in Intermediate took 6th in flat class and 6th place in jump course. Virginia Gibson in Novice took two 3rds in flat class and 2nd in jump course. Paris Burghouts in Maiden took two 1sts in flat class and 1st in jump course and was Champion in her division. Grace Thomas in Maiden took two 2nds in flat class and 4th in jump course and was Reserve Champion in her divi Congratulations ladies! Oakdale made its mark on the start of a great show season!

 

Girls JV and Varsity Soccer teams play at home tonight against Middletown at 5:30 and 7:00! Come out to support!

 

Raise money for breast cancer research on October 6th from 1-3pm. Anyone is welcome to come out to the OHS stadium to participate in a 5k and field day. Use the QR code posted throughout the building to sign up; we hope to see you there!

The annual See You at The Pole event will be held this Wednesday at 7:00AM around the flagpole in the front of the school.  All students are welcome to come and pray for our school, community and nation. Please consider participating! If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gough or Mr. Widmeyer.

 

The yearbook staff needs photos from all students for the yearbook. We are looking for photos from students who went on college visits, summer and travel, students and their pets, football games, then and now photos, Celebrity look alikes, homecoming and spirit week.

 

Listen up all Red Cross Members and prospective members! There will be a Red Cross Meeting held tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24th in SET in Mrs. Cole’s room. If you are interested in the club, but could not register, please join us for this meeting. In SET we will be securing all Volunteer Connection accounts with Red Cross, and answering any questions that have to do with Red Cross Club or account registration. This club DOES NOT require you to give blood. It is all about volunteering and serving the community alongside Red Cross! Join us tomorrow!
