Girls Varsity Soccer won 4-0 at Williamsport on Tuesday. Goals were scored by Lauren Truelove, Hannah Clagett, Jordyn Schwartzman, and Sam Foster. Isabella Gould had 5 saves to preserve the shutout, her 3rd of the season. The JV girls soccer team also beat Williamsport 5-0 on Tuesday.  Goals were scored by Fina Mochi, Marin McDonald, Sarah Thorssell, and Courtney Lindstedt. Varsity girls play Catoctin Thursday night at 7pm after the Boys Varsity team. Come out to support!

 

Any sophomore interested in being part of the Sophomore Class Club should sign up this week or stop by and see Mr. Crum for information. We need to join together to select officers and get ready to participate in homecoming festivities. Mr. Crum can be found in room B119 or you can email him.

 

“Are you interested in Computer Science or coding? Do you enjoy or are interested in trying to create your own software programs? Join the computer science program today and expand on your skills and knowledge! The club is open to anyone including people who have no experience with programming or who have not taken a computer science class at the school. Meetings will be held every other Friday in Mr. Trigger’s classroom.”

 

Also, on Tuesday the JV field hockey team also one along with Varsity. 

 

Any sophomore or junior who wishes to take the PSAT must register using School Cash Online. The fee for the PSAT is $17.00 The PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 16 beginning at 7:30 a.m. PSAT study guides are available to registered students in the counseling office. The PSAT serves as an excellent way for students to preview and practice for the SAT.  For juniors, the PSAT is the official route of entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program.Please note that no refund will be given if a student misses the test for any reason.

 

The annual See You at The Pole event will be held this Wednesday at 7:00AM around the flagpole in the front of the school.  All students are welcome to come and pray for our school, community and nation. Please consider participating! If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gough or Mr. Widmeyer.

 

The Red Cross Club is a service organization devoted to helping others in need. We support local and national efforts for those who’ve faced disaster situations, as well as those who are in need of temporary support for other situations. Sign up for our club today if you are ready to serve!

 

Show out to Ben Bevilacqua´s trash pickup on October 20th from 12-1:30. We will meet at the picnic tables by the cafeteria.

 

The  National Honor  Society will take up a cash collection for the American Red Cross to be used for hurricane relief in the Bahamas on Thursday, 19 September during SET and the lunch shifts.  Please be generous.
